The hotel offers airy and reasonably large rooms with lounge chairs and patios both front, as example, I am very pleased about that. The property is in an absolutely perfect position and the airport is 19 miles away.

Our room was a good size and had plenty of space. It had cozy lounge chairs and a comfortable bed. The price we paid was US$131. The hotel's location was very convenient, being near the volcano, waterfalls, national park, and orchard. We especially enjoyed how close it was to Nanue Falls.

The studio suite was lovely and cozy, a nice place to spend the day. The hotel's remote location next to Botanic Park and a beautiful garden with a sea view in the distance is charming. Hakalau Beach Park is just a short 10-minute drive away.

My stay at Mahana House was beyond fantastic! The location was perfect, just a short drive from Hilo, allowing us to easily explore the entire island. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with a fully stocked kitchen and even farm fresh eggs for breakfast. The owner, Randy, was incredibly helpful, providing us with great recommendations for our island adventure. I loved the peaceful nights listening to the soothing coquis. I highly recommend Mahana House Country Inn for an amazing stay in Hilo.

Located near Akaka Falls and the national park, Mahana House Country Inn is the perfect place to rest after exploring the entire island. The owners' gardens provide a lovely backdrop, and the rooms are high quality, with everything you need. The bathroom design is great, and the service from Randy and Alison is excellent. Guests can enjoy free plants from the plantation, like bananas and avocados, and facilities like the washer and dryer are available. The view is beautiful, and the inn is well-maintained.
Neighboring guests can occasionally be noisy.
